One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.
Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

Who here is excited? Seriously, look at that beautiful cover. And we are only one step closer to the release date. I knew I shouldn't have flown through Divergent but I couldn't stop my self, and now I must suffer the punishment of waiting until 2012 until the release date of this book.
If you haven't read Divergent, I would tell you to read it now because you are seriously missing out, but I'm actually going to advice not to read it now because you will be heavily disappointed that you don't have the second book in your hand for once you finish. Who am I kidding? Read it! And check out my review for it! (Divergent)
Rumor has it that there is a movie in the air, so 2012 is going to be a good year for dystopia fiction.
