A marriage in name only...

To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner, Alexa Maria McKenzie, casts a love spell. But she never planned on conjuring up her best friend's older brother—the powerful man who once shattered her heart.

Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn’t believe in marriage, but in order to inherit his father’s corporation, he needs a wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister’s childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he offers Alexa a bold proposition.

A marriage in name only with certain rules: avoid entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love. The arrangement is only for a year so the rules shouldn’t be that hard to follow, right?

Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans…

This, was by far, the cutest little love story I have read. Honestly, from the start these two were doomed. I don't know what was funnier, the fights or the way they tried to deny anything was between the two of them.

I bought this book when I saw it on sale and I decided that it could could not be the greatest loss in the world to read this book. When I started reading through it I knew I made the right choice. From the beginning the tale sucks you into the lives of Alexa and Nick. They are both extremely hardheaded people who both want something from the other.

Even though it wasn't the longest story I have read, I still found such amazing character development between the two main characters.

I almost want to continue reading the next books, even though I know that they will go off to the other supportive characters. I think I just want to live in Alexa and Nick's world just a little longer before going off to the others.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who lost romance. I finished this book in like two hours just straight through reading. Because once this novel starts there is no finishing it, these characters are so captivating.

Loved, loved, loved this book!
