I'm really glad I got the chance to review this book. I had no idea I would like it so much.

Paige, the main character, believes she is losing her mind. And how can she not when nothing else in her life makes sense? But when she tries to get to the root of the problem and goes to her mother for guidance, Paige discovers something that changes everything.

Reading this book was a great way for me to get back into the groove of reading, after what has felt like a long time. I loved McQuay's style and the way she brought Paige to life. I can tell this will be a great book series.

Paige goes from the comfort of her life into a world filled with magic and monsters.

The story was lively and entertaining and I found myself really getting into it. While it isn't incredibly long, it is enough for the readers to gain the full enjoyment of this novel.

A definite read!

Honestly, am I the only one that thinks that Kagawa should write a separate series featuring Kierran? Unless, he's in the spin-off series featuring Ethan Chase...either way, this novella was epic!

Obviously this review won't be as long, but I absolutely loved seeing Meghan again and Ash! I could die happy. There are so many ways that these things can go between them all, I feel like Kagawa should not stop now.

I have never really read a novella before, but the way that Kagawa set this up I was impressed. I never knew one could put so much in such a short time span. And there was so much I was so angry that it stopped where it did, but again, it leaves so much room for possibilities!

And now that I have the entire collection on paperback, I can finally go back and enjoy some of them! Kagawa, thank you! I love this so much. This is amazing!! I going to review the entire book when I finished the other two novellas, but I just couldn't resist doing this one since I haven't exactly read the other ones yet.

But I will get to them, even if I have to sacrifice precious study time. I don't think I will ever get tired of these guys. And the growth that Meghan experiences. Being Queen looks good on her, that's all I must say to that! And Ash, oh goodness, how I missed him!

This was such a beautiful novella. Even though it was short, there was absolutely nothing miss from it that the other books had that this didn't. Kagawa knows how to bring in a reader and keep them.

Moning is the worst tease in the world! I mean, the way it ended, really, really!

Okay, so I'm jumping a little ahead of myself, so we'll just backpedal.

Mac and Barrons are back and deadly as ever. As Mac spirals deeper and deeper into the dangerous world of Fae, secrets are revealed and the balance of humanity lies on a paper thin wall that is just about to break open, spilling over all the Unseelie into an unsuspecting Dublin. And, of course, V'lane is back, just waiting for Mac. And the Book, the hunt for it has just taken a very deadly twist.

This book moved the whole story so fast I was having a hard time wrapping my head around what was happening.

There is seriously some development going on in this book and I think this will be one that really helps push the rest of the book series through, which is weird because I also think this is the middle book, so it makes sense!

I don't know what to say without saying too much, but the dark tone in this book is chilly and I just have to say that you really need to finish this book before we can have a discussion. The last few chapters will be jaw droppers and I can almost see the expressions on people's faces.

Moning is the master of seduction and mystery and Fae. This will have you running to the book store for more!
