In Manhattan: Stacking the Shelves (20)

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews

I officially suck. I have not done one of these in over three weeks now, almost a month, and there has just been so much going on that I really don't have that much time to sit and talk about everything that I've gotten!

But I have good news and bad news to share. Bad news is that there are four weeks left of school, which means that papers and projects are starting to come close to an end. I have to write several large papers, some projects, and several exams are coming up meaning that if you thought my updating was bad, get ready because it is going from bad to worse overnight.

Good news though, because there is a silver lining, there are only four weeks of school left! Meaning that after those four weeks I am free for a month and three weeks, meaning that all those authors who I have had on my For Review pile and sitting there as late as April of this year, will finally get a review! I won't be able to read everyday, because I do have a life outside of reading, but I will for the majority of the time get as much reading as done. If anything, I plan to make sure that anything that I got from April to October of this year gets read before I start taking care of other things. Sound fair?

And to add to the good news, next semester I will only be taking 12 credits. And this is for a number of reasons: a) I have never taken 12 credits before and I am currently losing my mind. I cannot continue with my 16/17 credit track that I was going on, especially since I'm on the five year track for school. So, I'm slowing down a little. b) I'm trying to go out for a sorority, and the way that it has been explained to us is that going through the process is basically like adding another 3 credit class. But I want to enrich my college as experience as much as possible, which means doing as much as I can within the short time I'm here. But the wonderful thing is that with 12 credits and the sorority thing, I will have plenty of time to read. The way my schedule worked out I don't have any classes for Tuesday and Thursday, which makes me happy!

Okay, that was a lot! Maybe too much...ah well, I don't care.

Also! I have TWO GIVEAWAYS! going on right now! The Memory Thief by Emily Colin and Ten by Gretchen McNeil. Anyone who lives in the US can participate (I'm still trying to figure out the whole international thing in order to include Canada, just give me time!) and honestly it isn't that hard. All that I ask is that you please, please, please either "Like" for my Facebook, "Tweet" about the giveaway, or "Follow" me on Twitter. You DO NOT have to do all three but YOU MUST DO AT LEAST ONE! or else I can't really count your entry. I do give a bunch of freebees out, so take advantage of those, but they mean nothing without the three requirements that I have said above!

Links to the giveaways are on the sidebar and above.

And, I am participating in two blog tours from Xpresso Book Tours hosted by Giselle from Xpressoreads. I'm a tour host for two books right now, the tours I'm in are on the sidebar thingy!
Now, on to the books!
